It's no secret: I love designing for children's birthday parties. But once in a while, by sudden impulse or by request, I go a little more "refined," so to speak, in the birthday design arena. The Shabby Pink Roses Birthday Collection is one of those times!
When planning for this design, I had a few very special ladies in mind. By envisioning what kind of party they would have enjoyed (if they were still with us to celebrate, that is), I was able to easily flow right into the design by pulling together rustic textures and softly feminine floral elements.
While this design would be perfectly beautiful for a birthday at any age, I created it specifically with something like Grandma (or even Mom, or Auntie) in mind.
